Staff are always helpful and are always busy with customers, had a charge back scheme not too long ago and sorted everything out within half an hour

NatWest

52 West St, Fareham PO16 0JX, UK – 0345 788 8444

Great staff at a very friendly bank

Great staff. Seeing familiar faces builds trust. My two little daughters always like to go there :)

Lloyds Bank

43 West St, Fareham PO16 0BE, UK – 0345 300 0000

friendly staff, always seems to be someone about to help out if needed. There are two cashpoint machines inside that are also accessible at night, along with a depositpoint, and inside there is an instant deposit machine to save queuing at the cashiers desks.

Staff are friendly and helpful and everything is done to help the customer.

Building Societies

Nationwide

2 Savoy Buildings, West Street, Fareham PO16 0DP, UK – 0800 554 0336

Recently met with a Personal Banking Manager. She explained our options clearly and professionally and we came away feeling very satisfied with the help we were given. This was another example of the excellent service given at this branch.

Fairly average size branch, but i find the staff very miserable and unhelpful, making my visits quite frustrating rather than pleasurable like they used to be in earlier times there, when the staff were of a much more friendlier and helpful nature. The self service machine outside always seems to of run out of envelopes to deposit cash and cheques at the weekends also, just when i need it to operate most!

I have had a phobia of dentists since I was given a filling with not enough local anesthetic to which was about 15 years ago, I was reluctant going to a dentist but I was allocated the most amazing dentist! He has carried out extensive work on my teeth, and I'm so thankful because they look amazing! He has a way of doing injections without feeling the needle go in, and they are very accommodating and caring unlike other dentists. They will explain everything they need to do and don't leave you guessing. I highly recommend this dentist I don't have any complaints, the waiting time is quite long but totally worth it, I can see why they are in such high demand.

We have been with Trafalgar Dental Practice for long time and all I can say is the best practice, my lady Dentist was fantastic and the charges is reasonable , the waiting time is quite long but totally worth it. I can see why they are in such high demand.

Damira Dental Studios

Sharland House, 29/30 High St, Fareham PO16 7AD, UK – 01329 233502

Possibly one of the most friendly and excellent dental clinics I have visited. I was sent there on a Saturday morning as a nhs emergency appointment after my own dentist treated me appallingly the day before. They were very sympathetic and explained everything in detail including my x Ray results and even let take a print out to show to my dentist for future treatment and prescribed the appropriate medication. Thank you, I certainly hope that I can transfer to this clinic.

Excellent dental services, always friendly and professional. They had no issues when I rang up concerned about my wisdom teeth, they booked me in for same day appointment. Really do recommend, if your nervous about the dentist they make you feel at ease and explain everything for you. Thank you for your excellent service.

Brilliant with nervous patients. Ok, so I have issues with anxiety at the best of times, couple that with a phobia of dentists and of needles, and I am never going to be the best patient. Originally, I saw Harry, who was amazing, but today, I saw a lady, didn't catch her name due to the stress of the situation, but will be seeing her from now on. I had a tooth extraction. She and the nurse with her were amazing, absolutely amazing. They were both gentle and kind, the dentist took her time, I never felt hurried or stressed. It was the best dental experience I have had. I will never be keen on treatment, but I reckon I could sit through anything with the lovely team at West Street Dental Clinic.

Spotlessly clean waiting room and treatment room, the reception staff are professional and courteous, and there's rarely a wait beyond your appointment time. My dentist always explains everything, the quality of work is (as far as I can tell) top notch, and he's a thoroughly nice chap too. Been with them for around 6 years and never had a bad experience.

Dentists

VIDA Dentistry for life

South Wing, Fareham House, 69 High St, Fareham PO16 7BB, UK – 01329 823040

Highly recommended. After receiving under par treatment elsewhere I spent some time researching alternatives. I then registered at Vida for several reasons. They are friendly, knowledgeable and transparent. I feel well looked after and appreciate their willingness to answer my (many) questions. I have seen both Claire and Jurgita and their approach is head and shoulders above what I have come to expect. I also have to say that everyone on reception has made a visible effort to help whenever I have called; far removed from the gatekeeper technique used in other surgeries.

I have been going to this Dentist for quite a few years now, Louise on the front desk is always friendly and welcoming. I hate going to the Dentist but they all make it bearable and as comfortable as possible. Brett in particular is excellent and is great with putting you at ease and giving tips to help look after the nashers. The standard of work is also excellent and had no issues with both filings and a veneer I had done. Well Done!

Manor Dental Surgery

270 Hunts Pond Rd, Park Gate, Fareham PO14 4PF, UK – 01489 578917

This is a very busy dentist because they are very popular l believe.Anyway had really good treatment and a really nice job done on my false teeth.I am terrified of dentists due to my experience with them when I was very young 65years ago but am very pleased to say they were brilliant and made me feel very relaxed As I am a bit deaf all the staff were very clear in voice when they expained things to me .All in all a very good experience and have no qualms about returning for further treatment :)

Fareham Road Surgery

333 Fareham Rd, Gosport PO13 0AB, UK – 01329 551400

Been coming here since 1976. The building has changed but the care has not. Cannot think of going anywhere else. All the family come here. Great with children.

I've had to have alot of dental work done recently (wisdom teeth etc) and was pleasantly surprised by the gentle and calming nature of the work that was done and explanations throughout the procedures. Was fitted in with 30mins notice for urgent work and appreciated the effort reception and dental staff went through to sort me out.

Jubilee Surgery

High St, Titchfield PO14 4EH, UK – 01329 844220

Although generally I have had good service from this surgery I am somewhat dismayed that my last visit was substantially less pleasing. I had an appointment booked to see a doctor with my 8 year old today. I was running a couple of minutes late and called ahead to let them know that I was definitely coming and was on my way. As usual the wait to have the call answered delayed me advising the staff I was going to be late. I was assured this was ok to still attend. We arrived 5 minutes late and booked in. Sat in the waiting room for 25 minutes waiting for our name to come up. The doctor we were waiting for did not call for one other patient whilst we were there. We had another appointment we simply could not miss. So after every other person that was in the waiting area before me was called I went to the reception and informed them that we had to leave. I was received with a shrug of the shoulders and the receptionist providing me with the most ridiculous excuse I have ever heard considering my experiences with this surgery. The doctor had taken in another patient in those five minutes. I am not new to this surgery - NEVER has it ran on time even when I have had an appointment first thing in the morning. An hour wait is not unheard of - 20/30 minutes is normal. Even if the GP had taken in another patient they were in there for 25 minutes as no-one was called by that doctor whilst we were there. The GP's literally cant wait to get you out the door normally so it must have been a very special patient indeed! So this standard excuse was nonchalantly delivered with a shrug of the shoulders and the receptionist walked off back to her desk! I was late by minutes and had the courtesy of letting them know but another was 'allegedly' taken in. I would suggest that if you want your patients to show a little respect or courtesy then showing it back would be a good place to start and not treat us like idiots or waste our time. I lost 45 minutes waiting and travelling time to an appointment yet I must just accept it. Frankly next time I wont even bother turning up or calling if that is the response I am going to get. The doctors when you get to see them are fab - thats if you can get to them and can get past the 'holier than thou' attitude I was shown today. I was really disappointed with this latest encounter with the reception staff to the point that I didnt rebook as I was trying to fight the urge to give that receptionist a piece of my mind. Had I just been told that I was too late that would have been fine and I would have accepted that but don't treat me like I am an idiot. I have seen many a patient lose their temper in the reception and now I understand why and my sympathy for the staff was somewhat eroded today following this experience.

Reception staff were great when we registered as new patients. Staff were polite, helpful, and gave us good advice and information
